As a project manager, I work with the programmers and web designers to bring together the clients vision for their website and implement new functions to existing sites. Here are the three tools I can’t live without:
Snagit – On a daily basis when working with new or current websites one of my main tools I use is Snagit. Snagit allows you to capture an image or video of what you see on your screen and share it with anyone. You then have the ability to write notes on the captured image that explain exactly what you need to do and save them screenshot in your folder. It is so easy to use and it is an efficient way for me to communicate with my co-workers when working on a website.
Gyazo – Another great tool when needing to share screenshots is a tool called Gyazo. Gyazo allows you to instantly grab a screenshot and it gives you a URL to send to someone to show them the screen you are seeing. It is a great tool when I am beta testing and I may be using a different browser then someone else is and I might be seeing something different.
Color Picker – ColorPick Eyedropper is a fantastic tool when needing to know the exact color from a document or a website. You can find it in Chrome as an extension. It give you the color code, so you can quickly and efficiently get the color you are looking for. There are so many great tools out there!
